Since its founding in 1987, VFA-Interlift eV has represented the interests of the medium-sized elevator industry. With over 240 member companies from Germany, Europe, and beyond, the association is a key player in innovation, standardization, trade fairs, and networking within the industry.

The VFA sponsors the world's leading trade fair for elevator technology, interlift in Nuremberg, and offers continuing education opportunities through seminars and conferences through the VFA Academy. It is also actively involved in national and international legislation and standardization.
