A glimpse into the future: robotics in the elevator industry

The robOTTO team from Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, together with EduArt Robotik and Schmitt+Sohn Aufzüge, will be presenting mobile robot systems for industrial use at interlift. Robotic assistants are already taking on physically demanding tasks in manufacturing and are an integral part of modern production and logistics processes. robOTTO and EduArt are presenting robot models that were originally developed for international RoboCup competitions. In the future, these systems are to be used on several levels and will also be able to interact with elevator systems.
