High-Level Expert Lectures at interlift: The Program in the VFA Forum

Updated: Aug 29

The VFA Forum is the communication platform of interlift: In more than 40 expert lectures, specialists will shed light on current topics such as standardisation, digitalisation, sustainability, workforce development, market trends, and technical innovations. The VFA Forum will accompany interlift on all four trade fair days, from October 14–17, 2025, in Hall 4.

The VFA Forum offers high-quality presentations and is organised by VFA-Interlift, the professional sponsor of interlift. The central theme of the forum in 2025 will once again be digitalisation. Other focal points include sustainable modernisation, international standards, regulatory requirements, and new products. Internationally renowned speakers have been secured for the lectures, such as Esfandiar Gharibaan and Daniel Bisang.

With market analyses from South America, Africa, India, and the Middle East, the forum extends its perspective beyond national borders and provides a solid overview of global developments.

A special highlight is the SME Special on the first forum day (Tuesday, October 14), which specifically addresses topics of interest to small and medium-sized companies – including sustainable modernisation concepts, innovative design recommendations, future-oriented rope technologies, and new approaches to the elevator experience.

The program is complemented by contributions on standards and safety – with a focus on the upcoming changes through EN ISO 8100-1/2 and the new Machinery Directive.

During the four days of the trade fair, forum visitors can attend all lectures free of charge. The presentations will be held in either English or German, with simultaneous translations provided in both languages.

We look forward to welcoming you in Hall 4!
