Henning GmbH was founded in 1980 by Heinz and Dirk Henning as a metalworking company and production facility for heating oil metering pumps.
A few years later, production was expanded to include hydraulic dampers and closers, as well as gas springs. These products have been successfully used for years in many industries wherever damping is required. We offer a large number of dampers available from stock in various designs and models. We also produce custom-made products according to our customers' specifications. We have built a strong reputation as a supplier of door dampers and closers, particularly in the elevator industry.
In 2000, Philip Molineus joined the management team. A comprehensive investment program was approved – particularly for new developments in elevator and building technology.
Since the beginning of 2001, the energy-absorbing hydraulic elevator buffer has been one of our products. This elevator buffer, which we developed and brought to series production readiness, is patent pending and has been type-tested as a safety component by TÜV Hannover.
Our latest product line – the LiftPC® system with its various powerful hardware and software modules – was developed in collaboration with our team of experts specifically for the unique requirements of building services engineering and elevator construction. The LiftPC® was first presented with great success at Interlift 2001.
Our company philosophy is characterized by the flexibility, dynamism, and reliability of a medium-sized company; our strength lies in the processing of customized orders. We are a DIN EN ISO 9001-certified company and have a modern machine park with which we manufacture all parts in-house. Consistently high quality is thus permanently assured.
