ACADEMY
Since 2008, the VFA has maintained its own academy for training and continuing education in elevator technology. The academy collaborates with highly qualified and experienced lecturers as well as with other institutions and organizations in the business world.
There is currently no job profile for the elevator industry, nor is there a degree program in elevator technology. Employees in the elevator industry have completed their training in other professional fields and only acquire elevator-specific knowledge in their current jobs.
This is precisely where the VFA Academy and its offerings come in. In courses and seminars, employees from all areas acquire or deepen their knowledge: sales, assembly and disassembly, functional testing, project management, planning, and construction. VFA conferences offer middle and upper management a broad range of topics. The European Lift Congress ELCH and the VFA Forum interlift provide a perspective on elevator topics beyond national borders.
