In 1982, company founder Anton Sigriner began developing and manufacturing one of the first microprocessor elevator controllers. The AS-Z80 was the first elevator controller to solve problems such as short trips, group control, and more entirely via software.
In 1987, the company was renamed Anton Sigriner Industrie Elektronik GmbH. Thomas Sigriner, the next generation, joined the company.
In 2003, we formed a partnership with STEP Electric Shanghai Ltd., a powerful partner in elevator control systems. STEP Sigriner Elektronik GmbH was born.
