In 1982, company founder Anton Sigriner began developing and manufacturing one of the first microprocessor-based elevator controllers. The AS-Z80 was the first elevator controller to solve problems such as short trips, group control, etc., entirely through software.
In 1987, the company was transformed into Anton Sigriner Industrie Elektronik GmbH. Thomas Sigriner, representing the next generation, joined the company.
In 2003, we formed a partnership with STEP Electric Shanghai Ltd., a high-performing partner in elevator control systems. This led to the creation of STEP Sigriner Elektronik GmbH.
