The company was founded by Siegfried and Karin Hallasch on August 1, 1985, initially located on Hänferstrasse in Baden-Baden-Steinbach. After 12 years working for globally operating elevator companies, Siegfried Hallasch decided to become self-employed. The company's first objective was to acquire at least 100 maintenance systems to establish a solid foundation for its growth. They soon began manufacturing their own elevators, installing their first project—a kitchen elevator—in a restaurant in Bühl.
