On August 1, 1968, the company ORANG-Aufzüge, Düsseldorf, was taken over by Lothar Rüger, the father of the current owner, thus laying the foundation for the company's now 40-year history.

The initial product range primarily consisted of bin lifts, which for a long time were manufactured and assembled entirely in-house, including the drive system. The lifts from the ORANG 02, ORANG 03, and ORANG Elektrik model series were widely used.

Of course, the complete maintenance of conventional elevator systems, such as passenger, freight and small goods elevators, has always been part of our daily business.

In 1976, the company moved from the now demolished workshop building at Wilhelm-Tell-Str. 24 in Düsseldorf-Bilk to new, larger business premises at Birkenstr. 118 in Düsseldorf Flingern.

In 1995, the company W. Wiedenfeld & Co., Düsseldorf, was acquired, thus adding another area of expertise: the construction and maintenance of beer keg lifts. Following his father's death in 1997, Jürgen Rüger became the owner of Rüger Aufzugbau, leading the company into the next generation. In 2004, the company moved to its current premises on Regenbergastraße in Düsseldorf-Gerresheim.

Our long-standing clients include homeowners, owners' associations, property and asset management companies, as well as banks, municipal, medical and cultural institutions, hotels, production companies, breweries and restaurants.
