With nearly 100 years of experience and expertise in the field of engineering plastics, Schwartz GmbH joined the Röchling Group at the beginning of 2019, expanding its "Industrial" division as a supplier of highly resilient plastics and large-format special cast polyamide parts.
Under the new name "Röchling Industrial Xanten," OPTAMID® pulleys have been successfully used in elevator technology for over 40 years. Machine parts made of high-quality engineering plastics are now replacing heavy metal components in many cable-driven elevators and escalators. Röchling Industrial Xanten's plastics have proven their worth in these systems because they are lightweight, durable, and maintenance-free, making them a better alternative to metal both technically and economically.
Over the years, we have developed the application-optimized OPTAMID® material, which supports the requirements of an elevator.

Due to the successful use of OPTAMID® pulleys, Röchling Industrial Xanten has developed a comprehensive standard range that includes pulley sizes with diameters from 100 to 650 mm and widths from 40 to 178 mm.
