With nearly 100 years of experience and know-how in the field of technical plastics, Schwartz GmbH joined the Röchling Group at the beginning of 2019 and expanded it in the "Industrial" business unit as a supplier of high-strength plastics and large-format special castings made of cast polyamide.

Under the new name "Röchling Industrial Xanten," pulleys made of OPTAMID® have been successfully used in elevator technology for over 40 years. Machine parts made of high-quality engineering plastics now replace heavy metal components in many rope-driven elevators and escalators. In these systems, the plastics from Röchling Industrial Xanten have proven their worth because they are lightweight, durable, maintenance-free, and therefore a technically and economically superior alternative to metal.

Over the years, we have developed the application-optimized material OPTAMID®, which supports the requirements of an elevator.

Due to the successful use of OPTAMID® deflection rollers, Röchling Industrial Xanten has developed an extensive standard program that includes roller sizes with diameters from 100 to 650 mm and widths from 40 to 178 mm.
