MLC electronic GmbH was founded in 1997 and began developing microprocessor-based elevator control systems in the basement of a residential building. From the outset, technical quality, flexibility, and close partnerships were paramount. Over the years, the company grew organically, learned from its entrepreneurial experiences, and recognized its greater potential.
In 2013, MLC acquired its own production facilities in Zagreb and expanded its business to include mechanical components and complete elevator systems. By building its own manufacturing expertise and combining it with many years of experience in electronics and control systems, MLC has become a specialist in customized, non-standard elevators.
A milestone was the development of the flexible LC100 microprocessor control system. To date, over 22,000 control units and approximately 1,000 complete elevators have been produced and installed in more than 30 countries. MLC employs over 50 people, generates the majority of its revenue from exports, and is currently heavily focused on research and development, including in the areas of destination control, remote monitoring, and modernization solutions.
