Short portrait

The foundation for today's LIWETEC GmbH, specializing in technical calculations for elevator construction, was laid in 2008. In 2009, the first global online portal for efficient elevator planning, the Elevator Portal, was developed.

Today's Elevator Portal is a software program that can benefit architects, technical planners, elevator builders, elevator manufacturers and testing laboratories.

Services

Elevator Portal – a continuously updated software program including an expandable database of products, components, and materials from all leading manufacturers in the elevator industry for calculating, planning, configuring, and selecting elevator systems. The Elevator Portal is based on standards-compliant design according to EN 81-1, EN 81-2, EN 81-21, EN 81-20, EN 81-50, EN 81-77, partially TRA, and the global elevator standards EN ISO 8100-1 and EN ISO 8100-2.

Services

The Elevator Portal offers the following technical calculations:

Car, lifting cylinder, ropes, rope lifespan, traction sheaves, radial load, beams, rollers/axles, guide rails, supports, speed limiter, buffer force diagram, rail collision test

High-frame calculation, tension weight calculation, profile calculation, car center of gravity calculation, counterweight center of gravity calculation, safety gear, car geometry, bearing service life

Furthermore, the Elevator Portal also provides modules for energy efficiency, elevator description, management of test data for maintenance and testing companies, as well as the Elevator Configurator.

The Elevator Portal features an intuitive user interface with clear icons and buttons for simplified access and quick navigation to frequently used functions. Input and planning parameters are largely entered via mouse click or graphical dialog. Every input triggers an automatic plausibility check and real-time validation to detect planning errors early.

The multilingual interface allows international planning teams to use it in their preferred language.
