Tribology – the science of friction – is our specialty and often the key to success for our customers. Plastic friction plays a central role in the efficiency of escalators, intralogistics systems, sliding inserts, or industrial plants. Whether plastic adheres or can slide is often crucial to success. The right balance of friction ensures reliable operation. Lubricant requirements and service life are also important cost factors. We calculate in advance which material is best suited for the respective application. A wide range of measurement methods and many years of experience gained through endurance testing enable our experts not only to accurately select suitable materials, but also to perfectly dimension components and select the ideal friction "partners" for reliable operation.
