The VFA-Interlift eV – Association for Elevator Technology – is a medium-sized industrial association with over 240 member companies generating approximately €1 billion in annual revenue. The members manufacture elevators and their components. The VFA is the technical sponsor of the world's largest elevator trade fair, interlift, in Augsburg. Through the VFA Academy, the association offers training and continuing education through seminars and conferences. The VFA is actively involved in German, European, and international legislation and standardization. The VFA cooperates with national, European, and international institutions and organizations such as ELA, VmA, VDMA, and VDI.
